Try a pole dancing DVD to help you in your pole progress

There is a nice quantity of pole dancing DVDs available to us...

Most of them are instructional DVD's, but you can also find a few DVD's of competitions and there is even one of a non competitive event.

A pole dancing DVD can be a very handy tool for learning and for perfecting your technique. If you are an independent learner, make yourself a gift: invest in a good pole and buy yourself one or two DVDs.

If you prefer taking class at your local pole dance studio and want to practice at home... Do the same! Make yourself a gift: invest in a good pole and buy yourself one or two DVDs.

It's always good for any learning process to receive explanations from different sources. A simple change of view may be just what you need to achieve your goal. Your home as the practising room might be the winning strategy for finally being able to express yourself freely pole dancing.

How to choose

The instructional pole dance DVD's are usually of beginner, intermediate or advanced level.

For choosing the level appropriate for you, consider your level of fitness. Is it your first time getting in shape after a long period of inactivity or you regularly jog, do yoga and kick boxing?

If you are fit you might learn faster, so you might be disappointed with a DVD aimed at absolute beginners. The opposite is the same. Who wants to buy an instructional DVD only to find out you cannot do any of the exercises on it? No one.

Buy something challenging, but achievable. We want victories!

However, if you want inspiration, look at harder levels instructional DVD's, at competitive and at non competitive event DVD's.

Make sure you always do your home work before buying anything. These pages are only listings of what is available. Me mentioning them does not mean I recommend them.

So see for yourself if you like them. A good portion of them have a link to sample a clip from the DVD. Go see what you think of them before investing.
