Pole tips to improve your overall pole dancing practice

The pole tips I want to share with you are little insights that can make a big difference in your progress. These are the kind of tips you pick up here and there as you are training, by trial and error, or as you are being coached by someone else. But don't be fooled, these tips are the most precious ones.

Some other tips I took from my experience as a professional circus artist . Circus??? You might say. But realize that working with your body is working with your body. A lot of the body mechanisms used in circus are the same or very similar to the ones used in pole dancing.

I was able to apply a lot of my circus knowledge in pole dancing and it made me evolve much faster than the average student.

The first pole tip I want to share with you is very, very important. It can make the difference between a healthy evolution in pole dance or one with chronic problems. I prefer preventing injuries over having to heal them.

So let's learn how to hold the pole properly. It might sound like something very easy and obvious, but... it's not. Just take a look.

It's also really important to learn to adopt a good body posture from the start. This is a wonderful investment to your health as it will set a solid foundation for your new abilities to build on.

I will regularly add quick tips to help you train better and some artistic tips to help you Express Yourself Pole Dancing as this is my main goal for this site.
